Vacation:

Every family is entitled to one week vacation per child per year.  Please notify and administrator two weeks prior to your vacation week. Vacation weeks run from Monday through Friday and children must be absent all five day. Otherwise parents are responsible for payment regardless of any absences that week.

Sick Days:

You are still responsible for payment when your child is sick; this payment holds your child’s spot in his/her classroom. 

Holidays and Closings:

Holidays are special times for young children and will be celebrated and studied at school. Two teacher work days will be announced for the year in January.  These days are used for staff training and lesson planning.  They are treated as holidays.  Tuition is still due during workdays. Below is Creative Kidz Academy's schedul efor the upcoming holiday season. Due to Christmas and New Year's falling near the middle of the week we will be open on January 21 (Martin Luther King Day). Tuition is still due for all holidayswith the exception of Christmas - no tuition is due this week.

Easter Monday - 3/24/08 (Teacher Workday)
Memorial Day - 5/26/08
Independence Day- 7/4/08
Labor Day - 9/1/08
Thanksgiving - 11/20/08
We will be closed the week of Christmas and reopen the day after New Year’s. Tuition is not due the week of Christmas. 

In the event of severe or inclement weather, please stay tuned to WRAL Channel 5 or check online at wral.com for closings or delayed openings.  If closed or delayed, we will be listed under the daycare heading.
